Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your cFlash account and what happens to your data.

1. Delete Your Account In-App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the cFlash mobile app:

1. Open the cFlash app and sign in with your account.
2. Go to the Settings tab (bottom navigation).
3. Tap Manage account.
4. Tap Delete account.
5. Read the warning, enter your password, and confirm the deletion.

2. What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

• Your email address and password
• Your user profile (username, referral code)
• Your filter and notification preferences
• Your registered push notification devices
• Your subscription and payment history

Locally stored data such as saved news articles and in-app settings on your device are cleared as soon as you sign out or uninstall the app.

3. What Gets Retained

No personal data is retained after deletion. Server-side caches are cleared within 24 hours. If backups are created, they are purged within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated statistics (e.g. total active users) that cannot be linked back to you may be retained.

4. Active Premium Subscription

If you have an active paid premium subscription, you must cancel the subscription first in the appropriate store, otherwise the in-app deletion will be blocked. This prevents Google or Apple from charging a no-longer-existing account.

• Android: Google Play → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → cFlash → Cancel
• iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → cFlash → Cancel Subscription

5. Can't Sign In?

If you are unable to sign in to the app (for example, you forgot your password and cannot reset it), you can request deletion by emailing us. Please send the request from the email address registered to your cFlash account so we can verify the request:
